Fireworks blast off as the GCW theme blares through the speakers. A special set is in place with a ExtraVaganZa sign sitting at the side of the stage, another is hung up in the rafters not too far away. As the pyro dies down we cut to Terry Kohl and Beast Jackson at the commentary booth ringside.
Kohl: Welcome to GCW Friday Night Vindication, LIVE from the capital Washington D.C.. We have a star studded show for you guys tonight on the road to ExtraVaganZa 2017: Homecoming!
Beast: Right you are Kohl, I can’t wait to see Sway Archer vs. John Styles in the main event in what is sure to be a match that is the flippiest of shits.
Kohl: Right you are beast! I’m more interested in seeing the debut’s of two new hot prospects in GCW Travis Gray and Thorn who will be teaming up tonight against Mason James and Dan Henderson and that match is up next after the message from our new champion!
Kidd West & Owen Hawes Promo
We return from commercial to see Kidd West standing in the centre of the ring. The GCW World Heavyweight Championship draped over his shoulder and a mic in hand. He clears his throat and looks to the crowd.
“Championship gold. It it elusive to us all, it is what we strive to hold and what we hope will leave us a lasting legacy in the history books of this company. I remember my first championship. The old Television belt. It was unworthy of being called a championship. A belt that was to be competed for weekly? What an awful concept. The belt was later reimagined as the Hardcore Championship under Owen Hawes, whose historic reign lent much prestige to the championship.”
The fans remain quiet, listening intently to West.
“Then, the biggest battle in GCW history at that point occurred. Kidd West and Darius Seeiso, The Conspiracy, stomped their rivalling faction Anarchy Club in a final chapter of the battle for the Tag Team Championships. It was an old time when the division was at its most lively and competition was around every corner. Sadly in recent times that division has become weakened due to lack of competition in the back. This is mostly because everyone is scared to challenge the unbeatable conspiracy who are stomping on the road to the longest title reign in GCW History!”
The fans begin to get more vocal. A mix of cheers and boos fills the stadium.
“And in the next part of the chapter. I won the International Championship. I then did the unthinkable and successfully defended it at a Pay-Per-View. Something no one had achieved in GCW, something not Jensen, not Barton Massey and not even Stunray could achieve, and in my moment of victory I cashed it in… and that leads us to here!”
West points to the belt
“This prize… the thing I fought and bled for. I am the pinnacle of GCW, and I am top of the pack”
West suddenly drops the belt into his hand as the lights black out.
O Fortuna blasts through the PA System. As the lights come up, the former World Heavyweight Champion Owen Hawes is standing in the ring, his pest by his side. The two men stare off, as the audience begins to cheer for the prospect of another chapter in the Hawes vs. West story. The Nightmare raises his hand up in the air in an attempt to settle down a rowdy crowd. As it does, Owen Hawes takes a microphone and begins to speak. He does not break eye contact with Kidd West the entire time he is speaking.
“Mr. West, I commend you. You have accomplished what many have failed to do, and that is knock me off my place atop Mt. Olympus, and for that, I congratulate you. But need I remind you…”
Owen Hawes takes a step back and addresses the audience.
“Need I remind all of you what my goal was? My goal was to expose the false gods for what they were, and start a new reign of man in the land of the gods. Do you remember that?”
Owen Hawes turns to his Pest.
“I was asking you a question, do you remember that?”
Pest seems frozen in place, he hadn’t been directly addressed by his master in quite some time.
“I asked you a goddamn question!”
Owen Hawes’ neutral tone has now gone into a full fury. Pest forces himself to nod yes.
“Then where were you when I needed you? Where was my family? Were all the men afraid to face the gods?”
Just as he finishes his sentence, Pest is hit quickly by In the Crosshairs. Kidd West is pummeling Pest mercilessly. Owen Hawes quickly pulls West from on top of Hawes. As Pest staggers to his feet, he is met by a thunderous Lucid Dream that knocks him out cold.
Kidd West and Owen Hawes stare off one more time, but now, each has a smile that slowly begins to grow on their faces. Kidd West picks up the dropped World Heavyweight Championship. He looks at it momentarily, and then hands it off to Owen Hawes. Kidd West then kneels by the feet of the Nightmare as the screen fades to black.
Thorn & Travis Gray vs. Mason James & Dan Henderson
Kohl: Travis Gray starting off this match for the team of Thorn and Gray, Dan Henderson starting it off for the team of Henderson and the returning Mason James.
Beast: Why do we attract so many freaks here?
Dan goes to lock up with Travis, but Travis ducks under and forearms Dan in the back. As Dan turns around, Travis catches him with a straight right, before snatching a headlock. Dan backs Travis up to the rope, pushes him off, and Travis rebounds with a running knee.
Kohl: First we've seen of these two men, Thorn and Travis Gray.
Beast: First we've seen of this new Mason James too! If he wasn't massive before, he certainly is now, good lord!
Dan recoils back from the knee, and rolls to his corner, tagging in Mason. Mason steps over the top rope, and Travis rushes him. Mason grabs him by the throat, and throws him back. Travis rushes again and gets snatched into a belly to belly suplex.
Kohl: A belly to belly suplex, but Mason holds on!
Mason hits another belly to belly suplex, before dragging Travis to his feet and hurling him towards his corner with another belly to belly. Travis rolls to a knee in his corner, laughs a bit, and accepts the tag from Thorn. Thorn slowly enters the ring, and scowls at Mason. They lock up, and Thorn starts pumping his feet, pushing Mason back into the corner. As the ref separates them, Thorn catches Mason with a right hook. The ref struggles to hold Mason back as he goes to charge at Thorn.
Beast: Thorn almost mocking Mason here, not a smart move!
Mason moves past the ref, and the two competitors start up an absolute slugfest. Thorn grabs a stiff hold of Mason's neck, and the two continue pushing each other around the ring, nailing massive punches along the way. Mason pushes Thorn into the corner, and Dan tags himself in. Mason releases his grip on Thorn, and Thorn escapes back to his corner.
Kohl: Bold strategy by Dan here!
Mason starts arguing with Dan, but he reluctantly leaves the ring. As Dan enters the ring, he tells Mason to calm down, and turns around into an avalanche splash from Thorn. Thorn whips Dan across the ring, and nails another avalanche splash. He flips Dan upside down, and hangs him in the corner.
Beast: Dan worked himself into a shoot here, Thorn is about to crush him with that Poltergeist Plunge!
Thorn tags in Travis, before sprinting across the ring, and coming in with the Poltergeist Plunge. Travis comes in, and sprints across the ring too, before hitting a Poltergeist Plunge of his own.
Kohl: Brilliant combo from Thorn and Gray!
As Dan falls out of the Tree of Woe, Travis sets up in the centre of the ring. Dan rises and staggers to his feet, and Travis bounces off the ropes, nailing a discus forearm to the side of Dan's head. Mason shakes his head and drops down from the apron. Travis slides into the pin and gets the three count.
Kohl: Beautiful forearm from Travis Gray, securing the victory for him and Thorn.
Beast: Great debut for these two oddballs!
Captain Rump vs. El Masko vs. Mason Childers
Mason Childers secured a victory after a dominant performance against the Assman Captain Rump and El Masko the Luch-ass-dore. The match was hilariously themed around the ass, much to the disgust of Beast Jackson who mid match decided to just punch Captain Rump across the face, taking him down. Mason was able to finish the match by locking in his painful Squat and Pull, forcing
El Masko to tap out in pain.

Travis Gray Promo
The painted face of Travis Gray appears on the screen with a sick smile on his face. He twitches violently as he stares at the camera.
Travis Gray: My name is Travis Gray. And I'm a guy who likes to have a plan no matter where I go. I've had a pretty successful debut here in GCW and now I must move forward. And gold is on the horizon for yours truly.
A beat.
Travis Gray: I watched Malice in Wonderland and saw that some new champions were crowned that night. And as of now, I'm coming for one of the new champions. I have my eyes on the prize and that prize is the United States Championship. I will hurt anyone who stands in my path towards the title.
He pauses as he starts to giggle.
Travis Gray: Simon Cade, your title reign is going to be a short one. I'm going to hurt you and it will be fucking hilarious. Especially after I leave you in a pool of your own blood.
His giggles turn to straight laughter.
Travis Gray: Shine up that title for me, Simon. I'll be coming for it very soon.
He turns and walks off as he continues to laugh hysterically.
Kenji Yamada vs. Ken Rodman vs. Jesse James vs. Brandon Irving
Fink: “The following contest is a fatal 4-way match, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first… from Austin, Texas, weighing in at 261 lbs, Jesse James!”
“Sorry About Your Damn Luck” echoes throughout the arena as “Longnecks & Rednecks" By Dale Oliver starts to play over the PA system. As the chorus starts, a blast of fireworks come out from the entrance ramp and smoke starts to fill the arena. It begins to clear and standing on the stage is Jesse James. He is holding a beer bottle in his right hand as he takes a drink before walking down the ramp.
Kohl: “And here comes one of the men who ‘won’ the hardcore battle royal at Malice in Wonderland.”
Beast: “Yeah, and hopefully this is the man who ends up winning that three way dance at ExtraVaganZa, I like his style.”
Kohl: “You mean his mix of a powerhouse and brawling wrestling style? Or his devastating finisher?”
Beast: “No, I mean how he isn’t one of those goody two-shoes who refuses to drink a pint of alcohol, this guy’s fun!”
Fans try to reach out for him as he ignores them. When he reaches the ring he goes up the metal steps and steps through the ropes. The fans boos get louder as he finishes the beer before tossing the bottle to a staff member before nearest turnbuckle and raises his hands in the air.
Fink: “And introducing the opponent… from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 247 lbs, Brandon Irving!”
The Four Horsemen theme plays throughout the arena as Brandon Irving does a simple walk down the ring, occasionally a fan will attempt to reach out for him, but he ignores them.
Fink: “And introducing the opponent… from Providence, Rhode Island, weighing in at 180 lbs, “The Spectacle” Kenneth Rodman!”
“Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J begins playing as Ken Rodman walks to the ring sternly, rapidly shaking his head.
Kohl: “And here’s the 2nd of 3 men who ‘won’ the battle royal at Malice in Wonderland.”
Beast: “Yeah, can we hurry these entrances up? I want to see these guys go at it already!”
He rolls under the bottom rope, gets up, and stands on the bottom rope. He looks at the audience with an angry glance, screams "YEAHHH!!!" and gets down.
Fink: And introducing the final opponent… from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 215 lbs, Kenji Yamada!
“Pride of Lions” by The Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra begins playing, and as the trumpets hit in the song, Kenji burst on the stage with his trademark fedora, dancing and clapping along to the beat of the song.
Kohl: “And here comes the former Hardcore Champion Kenji Yamada, who seems to have a new lease on life ever since his little winning streak has begun!”
Beast: “Yeah, what generosity from Mr. Alexander to give him a second chance in GCW!”
He high fives the crowd all the way around the ring before sliding onto the side and pointing to the crowd. Kenji then enters the ring and runs straight onto the turnbuckle before throwing his fedora into the crowd.
The bell rings, indicating the beginning of the match just as Kenji is getting in his corner. The match begins with immediate
brawling, Specifically between the pairs of Kenji/Jesse and Rodman/Brandon. Rodman is quick to send Irving out of the ring, while Kenji hits a big running dropkick, sending James tumbling through the ropes. Kenji and Rodman stare at each other for a brief moment before they both lock up. Rodman gains the advantage with a waist lock, but Kenji reverses with a snapmare followed by a lightning quick soccer kick to the back of Ken.
Kohl: “Nice kick by Kenji, that’s going to sting!”
Ken rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, and Brandon Irving slides into the ring behind Kenji, and catches him off guard with a double axe handle. Brandon begins to deliver hard punches to the midsection of Kenji, who is unable to block them all.
Kohl: “And there are those hard lefts and rights by Brandon.”
Beast: “Oof, those shots could break some ribs, actually, yeah, break those ribs!”
Brandon eventually backs Kenji into a corner with the hard shots, but Kenji begins to fire back with rapid kicks to the midsection of Brandon. Brandon catches one of the kicks, however, and hits Kenji with a Shin Breaker. Before he can capitalize, though, Jesse drags Brandon through the ropes, and hits him with a snap suplex on the outside. Jesse rolls into the ring, and Kenji catches him by surprise with a roll up. Jesse is able to kick out at 2, though.
Kohl: “Kenji almost got James there by surprise!”
Beast: “Yeah, let’s not have that happen again, Jesse.”
Kenji gets on his feet before Jesse is able to, and bounces off the ropes, hitting Jesse with a spinning heel kick. Ken Rodman then rolls into the ring and rushes over to Kenji, before grabbing him and hitting a back suplex. Ken goes for a pin, but only gets a 1 count. Jesse grabs Ken, and punches him right in the head, almost completely knocking Ken down. They both begin brawling with each other, until Kenji hits a dropkick on Ken, sending him back out of the ring. Brandon, finally up from the suplex, drags Jesse out of the ring just the same as James did to him, and then DDTs him on the outside. Brandon gets into the ring, and kicks Kenji in the gut, trying to set up for the DDT. Kenji, however, Kenji reverses, and hits Brandon with the Reverberation.
Kohl: “This could be all over right here!”
Beast: “Come on… Brandon, Jesse, Rodman, anyone stop him!”
Brandon gets up to all fours, however is unable to dodge Kenji’s Drop the Bass. Kenji goes for the cover, and Ken Rodman gets into the ring. It’s close, but the 3 is counted before Ken is able to break the pin up.
Fink: “Here is your winner… Kenji Yamada!”
Kohl: “And it’s all over! Kenji has won this grueling fatal 4-way bout!”
Beast: “Damnit Ken, you had one job and you couldn’t do it!”
“Pride of Lions” begins to play once again as Kenji rolls out of the ring, and begins to dance back up the ramp. Kenji makes it to the top of the ramp, and then turns back around at the ring, seeing James lying out on the outside, Brandon Irving down in the ring, and Rodman in the ring, screaming at Kenji for just barely winning the match. Kenji continues to dance to the music as the camera
cuts away to commercial.
Edgar Whateley vs. Owen Hawes vs. Red Dragon
In a match where the stakes were incredibly raised. Edgar Whateley was able to secure victory against the other two competitors through a strong showing. Whateley tended to focus his assault more on Red Dragon who he appeared to have meticulous knowledge of Dragon’s offensive. It ended when Whateley hit his signature Crucifix Powerbomb ‘The Thing That Should Not Be’ onto Red Dragon to secure himself a 3 count.

The Conspiracy vs. Simon Cade & Andrew Jordan (Thank You El Masko!)
The scheduled tag match of The Conspiracy vs Simon Cade and Andrew Jordan turned into a singles as Kidd West tore Andrew Jordan off the apron and they took their fight into the crowd. When they were in the crowd it was a glorified street fight as Kidd and Jordan fought around the arena with high points including Kidd being driven back first into the concrete and Jordan's leg being bent around a steel railing in a bonecrunching submission
While that brawl occured Darius and Cade wrestled a clinic trading move for move. After a running corkscrew forarm by Seeiso was quickly changed into a spadebreaker by the US champion. Cade seemed to be ready to finish the match setting up for The Ace of Cades when Kidd leaving the hurt Jordan ran into the ring and saved his partner. The Conspiracy soon slowly took their time attacking Cade. Kidd now the legal man began setting up Cade for the King Louis' revenge. He hits the gutbreaker on Cade then... no Seeiso from the middle rope. He turns around and sees Darius struggling with Andrew Jordan. This momentary distraction allows for Cade to hit Kidd with the breakdown for the three count and the upset.
Edgar Whateley
This is intended to occur just after The Conspiracy’s tag match, as all competitors are still in the ring recovering from the bout.
A pale green spotlight appears on the stage, and Edgar Whateley emerges from the shadows to stand directly in the circle of light. He has his book under one arm and a microphone in his hand.
“Bravo lads. Another spectacular outing, to be expected. Mr West - if I may borrow the ear of your partner there for a moment… I believe he has something of mine.”
“Darius. If you’ve been paying attention, you know I don’t care about trinkets and shiny things. They merely exist to distract the onlooker from one’s shortcomings. I suppose in this case that means you need it more than I, but nevertheless... it’s not going to stay with you for long. I may not care for the International title itself - but I desire the accoutrement that comes with it. Mr Seeiso - you’ve taken my spotlight, and I intend to take it back.”
“Now I understand that I am eligible for a rematch - so here is my proposal. At Extravaganza - we will fight in any kind of match you wish. Stipulations are trivial. We will fight, I will win, and you will fade into obscurity once more. I promise you this.”
The spotlight flickers and turns off. When the house lights come back on - Edgar has gone.
Sway Archer vs. John Styles
Short and sweet, nothing about it. Sway Archer was able to secure a victory against John Styles after a slobberknocker of a back and forth battle to begin with. Sway kept hitting blow after blow but The Big Dog John Styles refused to stay down. Some say the ultimate underdog John Styles was unfairly taken out of the match when the conspiracy theme hit the speaker system, allowing Sway to roll him up and score an easy 3.
