We open on a specially designed set for GCW Vindication. There appears to be a massive ExtraVaganZa sign to the left of the stage and a massive ExtraVaganZa banner hung from the rafters. We see fireworks blasting across the arena as the camera pans over. We cut back to see commentators Terry Kohl and Beast Jackson standing at commentary.
Kohl: WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT VINDICATION! We have a special show for you, LIVE from the packed out Wells Fargo Center
Beast: Right you are Kohl, the cards have been dealt, the dice are cast and we move further onward to ExtraVaganZa.
Kohl: I’m getting word from backstage, there is a rumour that a bid has been placed for GCW by a consortium led by a mysterious individual. Apparently they are interested in taking over and running the company and do indeed have a background in wrestling. This news piece is certainly interesting!
Beast: Also, Darius Seeiso was told to put his money where his mouth is by Edgar Whateley last week too! Edgar issued the challenge for Darius to choose the terms of battle, Seeiso aptly asked Edgar to put his book on the line! And the madman actually did it…
Kohl: Interesting challenge there for the Show of Shows, ExtravaganZa 2017: Homecoming!
El Masko vs. Captain Rump
A contest for the ages ladies and gentlemen. The aerial ass-ass-in El Masko was no match for the Ass that tops the Class Captain Rump. Rump struck down El Masko with some bootylicious fever and forced him into tapping after firmly planting his rear end into the face of the poor m-ass-ked superstar. El Masko was medically evacuated to a nearby medical facility after suffering from the toxic fumes.
GCW.com Rating: 3/5
Kenji Yamada vs Ken Rodman vs Jesse James
The match seemed to be more focused on Ken and Kenji as Jesse James didn’t seem to bring his A-game so never had a chance to gain momentum. Just like previous matches the pair had already had, the strikes were brutal from both Kenji and Ken. By the halfway mark, both men had large bruises covering their body but they did not seem to want to slow down. The last quarter of the match became a technical masterclass as both competitors seemed to know all the other’s tricks. Eventually, someone had to slip up and this time it was Ken who ended up being hit with a Drop the Bass from out of nowhere which secured kenji the win. After the match, there seemed to be a hint of frustration in the facial expression of Ken as he made his way to the back.

Red Dragon vs. Thorn vs. Mason Childers
A contest that could be considered an all out war. Red Dragon took on all comers. Managing to beat down the hot prospect Thorn as well as take on the veteran Mason Childers whom he has had many run-ins with in the past. Dragon secured the win after a ref who was too distracted trying to tend to a downed Mason Childers, did not see him strike Thorn across the head with a femur bone. Thorn was down for the three count as Dragon stood victoriously.

Sway Archer vs. Simon Cade
The unstoppable Sway Archer got one back on his enemy Simon Cade. Archer hit Cade with everything but the kitchen sink in this match as Cade tried to resiliently fight back. The Champion managed to get some offence in himself, often sending Archer reeling back to the ropes several times. But it was not enough to stop the former US Champ who struck his Ultralight Beam painfully on Simon Cade leaving him down for the three count. Archer took the time to play up his celebrations to the audience.

Mason James and Dan Henderson Vs Andrew Jordan and Brandon Irving
All eyes were on the odd pairing of Mason and Dan as many speculated as to whether they would co-operate with each other. However, the eyes swiftly shifted to Andrew Jordan who, with minimal help from Brandon, was able to connect with some vicious Martial art style strikes while not letting Dan near his partner who didn’t seem interested in helping him out. It was only inevitable that. Mason would make his way into the ring and instantly take control, laying out Andrew and Brandon with huge belly to belly suplexes. The closing moments became very interesting as Mason looked to be setting up a Mason Massacre until Dan tag himself in. Mason, infuriated, pushed Dan off the apron which the ref classed as a tag. Brandon attempted a sneak attack but was still unable to avoid the Mason Massacre as Mason get the win for his “team.”

Owen Hawes vs. Travis Gray
Neither competitor could not be found backstage. So in the meantime Nigel Alexander came out and admitted to everyone that there had indeed been an offer for GCW and that he would certainly be looking at it, though he did not specify if he would specifically sell.
Edgar Whateley vs. Kidd West
Kidd West was no match for Edgar Whateley who seemingly steamrolled an already bruised West. West simply lacked the stamina to compete and collapsed in ring where medics had to rush him out, giving Edgar Whateley a win by Technical Knockout in what I am sure is a first for GCW.
Rating: 2/5
Darius Seeiso vs. John Styles
The International Champion proved he had the guts to go mano a mano with the #1 contender. Not that he really had to prove anything. John Styles was ineffectual at best as Seeiso rolled over the competition. Styles did provide some aspect of defence though at times it felt like his heart just wasn’t in the fight. The match ended when Darius Seeiso hit a mindshattering Royal Fury on Styles getting him down for the 3 count.
