Kohl: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to GCW Vindication live in Los Angeles, California! I'm Kohl with my commentary partner Beast and with one week left till Justice, we could see some big upsets tonight. What do you think Beast?
Beast: Shhh Kohl! Do you not see you is in the ring?
Kohl: Oh, it appears the Hardcore Champion Simon Cade is in the ring with a microphone. Let's hope he gives us an explanation for his attack on Kenji last week.
Beast: I don't care what he says. I'm just happy we are finally starting this show right with someone good starting the show!
*The camera transitions to Cade in the ring clutching his title in one hand and a mic in the other*
Cade: Hello people… there’s no need for an introduction as to who I am, but perhaps a reason is necessary. A reason as to why I graced your pathetic lives with my presence to talk to you about this Kenji Yamada kid.
Kohl: Yeah, maybe an explanation is in order…
Beast: Shush Kohl, Cade is gonna talk!
Cade: Actually, no… I don’t need an explanation as to why I beat him, nor do I want to give one, but as per orders of our authority figure, I am forced to give one, so here it is… I did it, because I can.
Kohl: That’s it?
Beast: That’s all he needs to give us!
Cade: But aside from that… Kenji. I know you’re back there preparing for your match with Mason James, so I will give you your hardcore title match at Justice, and it'll be based on 3 weapons of our choice. Personally, I've always been fond of tables, so that's my pick, and earlier I met with Nigel, and he decided the 2nd weapon would be ladders... so Kenji, the choice is yours... pick the 3rd weapon.
Cade looks to the crowd really quick, hearing them cheer at Cade’s match decision
Kohl: Cade just threw down the gauntlet, now Kenji gets to pick the 3rd weapon!
Cade: Now then Kenji… Go prepare yourself for Mason. I’ll be watching closely. Sayonara…
Cade then heaves the Hardcore title over his shoulder and walks off to boos from the audience.
Kohl: Wow, Simon Cade actually showing honour in allowing Kenji to pick one of the weapons, it's a miracle he's showing honour at all.
Beast: Oh shut up Kohl, he always has honour when he’s beating opponents mercilessly.
Kohl: Well i don't know where you've been living where beating people up is honourable but no matter, up next is our first match of the evening, the team of Gamga Block and Ken Hart take on the GCW Team of the year Electric Ice.
Electric Ice VS Gamga Block and Ken Hart
In what was surprisingly a very evenly contested match, both teams put on quite the show of strength and speed throughout until Ken was able to catch Raiden off guard with a snapshot to pick up the win for his team.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: What an upset by Gamga and Ken, beating the team of the year in a close contest.
Beast: Yeah, just seeing Gamga and Titanic facing off was all i wanted to see in that match. But i guess the rest of it was pretty good.
Kohl: You mean you weren't paying attention?
Beast: Of course i was! How dare you say you are doing my job wrong! You should be ashamed of...
Kohl: *As Beast continues to rant* We'll be right back after this commercial break.
*commercial break*
Kohl: Welcome back everyone to GCW Vindication, we've only just begun here as we are slowly making our way to the first Pay Per View of the year, Justice! And culminating at that Pay Per View is the West Coast Classic where two wrestlers from this week's semi finals will face each other to crown the inaugural US Champion.
Beast: And haven't we got some great matches in the semi finals? Well one of those matches will be close. I can't see Kenji defeating the monster Mason.
Kohl: Well we can't predict the future Beast but right now let's focus on the first Semi Final contest of the night: The rumble winner Darius Seeiso takes on Sway Archer.
Beast: This could be interesting.
WCC Semi Final 1 Darius Seeiso Vs Sway Archer
Fink: ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a Semi Final match of the West Coast Classic and is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 189 pounds, Sway Archer!
*The arena lights flicker in time with the drums of black skinhead which is starting to play. Sway makes his way onto the entrance ramp, bobbing his head to the beat of the song as he stands in the centre of the ramp. He points towards the ring and then to the sky before kissing his fist and making his way down the ramp. As he makes it to the ring, he rolls in and stands in the centre as sparks rain from the ceiling. Sway makes his way to the corner before raising his hand once more and turning around to await his opponent*
Fink: And his opponent, from Maseru, Lesotho, weighing in at 265 pounds, Here is Darius Seeiso!
The arena lights flicker to blackness. As the guitar riff of out of the black begin to play an ambient red light comes on. Darius makes his way into the centre of the entrance ramp. Once the guitar drops, Darius looks to the sky as the spotlight hits him. He starts to make his way to the ring looking unimpressed. He rolls in and snarls at the crowd before going to his corner and kneeling, waiting for the bell*
Darius starts the match by rolling out of the ring, and setting up a chair for Maricia at ringside.
Beast: Look at this, such a gentleman, making sure his lady is taken care of.
Darius rolls back in and as he turns around to face Sway, gets rolled up with a schoolboy pin.
Kohl: Quick pin here by Sway! Darius barely kicking out at two!
Darius stumbles to his feet, and into the corner, as Sway charges.
Kohl: Sway with a strong forearm in the corner!
Sway backs up, and charges in for another forearm, before being met with a Royal Fury from Darius.
Beast: Have a good night Sway, you just got knocked out!
Darius slides into the cover, lounging on top of Sway.
Kohl: 1—2—NO! Sway kicks out! Darius can’t believe it.
Darius is fuming, as he picks Sway up.
Beast: If that didn’t keep him down, the Night Driver will.
Darius chucks Sway’s arm over his head for the Night Driver, and lifts him into the suplex position.
Kohl: Sway struggling here, trying to get out!
Sway drops down behind Darius, locking in the dragon sleeper on the way down.
Kohl: Fade! Sway’s got the Fade locked in!
Darius frantically grabs the ropes, and uses them to pull himself out of the ring.
Kohl: Sway taking some time here to hype up the crowd.
Darius paces on the outside, before looking over to Maricia, sitting beside the commentary table. Maricia shakes her head, and mouths ‘don’t’ to Darius.
Darius shakes his head, then rolls into the ring.
Beast: Sway, going for a kick here, Darius catches it!
Darius spins Sway down with a dragon screw, and keeps a hold of the leg. He waits for Sway to get up again, and then nails another dragon screw.
Beast: You see, Darius has had enough of this kid, he’s gonna put in work.
Darius continues the onslaught on Sway’s leg. He stomps at it, contorts it, and stretches it, almost being disqualified several times.
Kohl: Darius setting up for that figure four kneebar here!
Darius locks in the figure four kneebar, and starts wrenching back on it.
Beast: Listen to Sway screaming in agony! What a great time I’m having!
Sway makes a short lunge, and catches the bottom rope.
Kohl: Sway with the rope break here, Darius has until a count of 5.
The ref counts,
1!
2!
3!
4!
He hesitates, but then counts 5, and calls for the bell.
Beast: Darius just got himself disqualified! Why?!
Darius continues to wrench the submission, the ref trying to break Darius’ grip, but to no avail. Maricia is starting to grow worried on the outside.
Kohl: Somebody do something!
Maricia quickly moves into Darius’ line of sight, and as soon as Darius see’s her, he breaks the hold. Darius hops to his feet, and composes himself.
Kohl: Darius looking – a little remorseful?
Darius kneels down to help Sway to his feet, but is pushed away by the ref and ringside doctor. Sway is clutching his knee in pain.
Beast: Darius realized he went too far! He even tried to help Sway! Class act, I tell you.
Darius rolls out of the ring, and makes his way up the entrance ramp, Maricia following behind him.
Fink: Your winner as a result of a disqualification, and moving on to the finals of the West Coast Classic, Sway, Archer!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: That was quite a show of sportsmanship from Darius there. He know's he should have released the hold and he's going to regret it now as he is out of the West Coast Classic.
Beast: I don't think he will. Besides, he has a guaranteed shot at Owen's world title at Justice so i don't think he's all to worried about the US title.
Kohl: Speaking of Owen, i've been told he had a few words to say right now. Let's see what he want to address.
The lights go off in the Staples Center in Los Angeles California. O Fortuna’s opening lines blast across the arena. The rabid Los Angeles audience begins to erupt with both a mixture of cheers from the often ‘smart’ crowd. A sole spotlight shines in the middle of the dark arena, and in it stands Owen Hawes. He is holding his arms to his sides, with his newly acquired Global Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship grasped in his ride hand. Small flames are set ablaze by the Nightmare’s sides accompanying his arms’ movements, which go out as soon as he puts his arms down. Owen Hawes slowly makes his way to the ring and takes a microphone from a stagehand that is standing outside the ring.
Owen Hawes’ music dies down, and replacing it are chants of “we’re not worthy” from the LA audience. After a few moments of this, Owen Hawes slowly raises one hand of his and moves it down, telling the audience to quiet down. As they slowly do, the Nightmare begins to speak. His tone is more assertive than normal, done to quickly capture the attention of the audience.
“There is only one thing important in this world, and that is power. Power over your peers, power over your enemies, power over your superiors, power over your fears, power over your successes. Power.”
Owen Hawes lifts his new World Heavyweight Championship in the air, whilst continuing to give his sermon to the audience.
“But to have true power, one mustn’t enter battle alone. That is far too naive. Instead, one must raise an army, an army that will aid their leader in battle. All the army needed was proof that their leader can indeed gain power from the tyrant. So now, the tyrant has fallen, and the power balance has shifted in my favor.”
A smile begins to grow on the Nightmare’s face, as he slowly puts his World Heavyweight Championship back on his shoulder.
“Oh, and what an army I have raised. My army isn’t an army of gods, because despite my…reward, I have always kept my word. I am no god. I am but a man, here to take down every building block the gods of the arena have built for themselves, and take them as what is truly, and rightfully ours.”
With that, Owen Hawes’ smile grows ever bigger as he points to the stagehand that offered him the microphone, who takes off his hat and long hoodie to reveal himself to be Pest. Who enters the ring and immediately kneels in front of the Nightmare.
After that, the Nightmare starts chuckling to himself as he points to the cameraman in the ring who has been filming the close up shots of Owen Hawes for the television audience. Immediately, the cameraman drops his camera and kneels before the Nightmare similarly to Pest.
Owen Hawes nods at them, to which they both put on muzzles around their own mouths. Owen Hawes, who is now laughing points to the Titantron, where it shows the backstage area. There, multiple members of the staff have similarly knelt on the ground with muzzles around their faces. Merchandise crewmembers, stagehands, caterers and more can all be seen on their knees with muzzles covering their mouths.
The camera cuts back to Owen Hawes, who is now cackling with laughter, he composes himself, wipes a tear from his eye and starts to speak again.
“That’s the beauty of my army, world. We aren’t gods. We aren’t the elite. We are the muzzled, the quieted, and the censored. The gods tried to shut us down, the powers that be tried to shut us up, but I promised you an uprising, and here it is. Now this promise here was simply a demonstration of this new army, you may call it a declaration of war. So world, be ready.”
The lights go off again in the arena, and when it comes back on, the ring is empty and the Titantron simply shows a graphic for Vindication.
*commercial break*
Kohl: Welcome back to GCW Vindication where we are still trying to figure out exactly what we just saw from Owen.
Beast: I'm gonna be honest and say we should probably not try to understand it.
Kohl: I'm with you on that one. So why don't we look onto our next match? The Former GCW World heavyweight champion Shio Corin takes on the former International champion Stunray.
Beast: A battle of the formers? Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Shio Corin VS Stunray
In what was quite a one sided affair, Shio was able to keep Stunray at bay for most of the match. Even though Stunray showed signs of a comeback in the later half of the match, a simple Mic Check was all that was needed to squash any hope of an upset.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: A great showing from Shio as he defeats the plucky Stunray.
Beast: Wow, Stunray didn't stand a chance did he? I've never seen Shio so focused on the task in hand.
Kohl: Well why don't you say it to him personally as he appears to be making his way onto commentary. Welcome Shio, you are just in time for our next match featuring Aaron Black and the returning Kara Kylo.
Aaron Black VS Kara Kylo
If you were to put this match and the last match next to each other, they could have been exact copies as Aaron controlled the majority of the match even when Kara seemed to be mounting a string of offence. All it took was a blackout bomb to crush Kara's dreams of a upset debut. After the match, Aaron slipped out the ring to grab a mic before making his way back in.
Looking directly at Shio at ringside, he delivers a challenge.
"I said earlier I had a plan for you, Shio, and I do. You see I know that I don't have shit to prove to you or anyone else, but I want to show the world how much better than you I really am. I want to show these people what they already know, and that's that I would have been champion this entire time if you didn't take the cowards way out."
He paces around the ring for a moment before glaring at Shio again.
"So at Justice I will have just that. I challenge you to a 30-minute Iron Man match where I will be allowed to force you to tap out again and again and again."
Kohl: "Whoa!"
Beast: "What makes him think Shio would tap out? What an arrogant shit."
Shio has little reaction, just staring back at his adversary.
"No no, don't get up. It's okay. ... You have one week to decide, let me know."
Aaron drops the mic and almost turns right into a shot from Kara Kylo but ducks it, delivering a swift kick to his head. Aaron hesitates for a moment before an idea comes to him and he locks in the Blacklist on Kara Kylo!
Kara struggles around in pain while Aaron blankly stares at Shio.
The ref pulls Aaron off and tends to Kylo while Aaron calmly leaves the ring.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beast: What a challenge delivered by Aaron Black! I don't know about you Kohl, but a 30-minute Ironman match between Shio and Aaron seems good to me.
Kohl: It certainly does Beast. Let's hope that Shio accepts the challenge and takes on Aaron at Justice.
Beast: Speaking of Justice, we're about to find out the other finalist for the West Coast Classic.
Kohl: Yes we are as we see Mason James take on Kenji Yamada who has been having a lot of problems with Simon Cade recently. Since the End Of Days, Simon has been making sure that Kenji doesn't get a shot at a title by any means necessary.
Beast: Well judging by he report we've had, Kenji is going to be in a lot of pain if Mason gets a hold of him.
Kohl: Well let's see what will happen as the match is coming up next!
WCC Semi Final 2 Mason James VS Kenji Yamada
This match started very slow with Kenji attempting to avoid Mason for the early stages to protect his back. However, it wasn't long before Mason got a hold of Kenji with a clothesline. After that the match was controlled by Mason as he used power move after power move to keep targeting the injured back. It wasn't until an attempted torture rack where Kenji was able to fight out and mount a huge comeback. Using his Strong Style background, Kenji was able to knock Mason down to 1 knee with a fury of kicks and punches. This gave Kenji the chance to call for his finisher, drop the bass. However, Simon's music hits as he races down to the ring and onto the apron. Kenji lunges for him but misses. The two exchange words before Simon points behind Kenji at Mason who is waiting with a trio of belly to belly suplexes. This set Kenji up nicely for Mason newly named finisher, At Worlds End, which gave him the 3 count and a place in the WCC final at Justice. Afterwards Simon nods at Ian who smiles back, signalling that something had been planned beforehand. As everyone else leaves the ring, Kenji regains consciousness as he kneels in the middle of the ring. He stands looking directly at the entrance ramp before running as fast as his feet took take him to the backstage area.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beast: No prize for anyone who can guess where Kenji's heading.
Kohl: Well it seems understandable, wouldn't you want to get revenge after someone cost you another title opportunity?
Beast: No, because no one would dare do that to me!
Kohl: *sigh* That's besides the point. This 3 Weapons match is looking like it could be one brutal encounter. I can't wait to see what Kenji's weapon of choice will be. We will head for a quick commercial break and when we return we will have our main event match.
*commercial break*
Kohl: Welcome back once again to GCW Vindication where we are close to rounding off our go-home show for Justice. But first we have a special main event: A champions triple threat match between Hardcore Champion Simon Cade, International Champion Kidd West and World Heavyweight Champion Owen Hawes! Let's get straight into it.
Champions Triple Threat Match: Simon Cade VS Kidd West VS Owen Hawes
The lights black out suddenly, ‘O Fortuna’ erupts deafeningly across the arena as a figure obscured by shadows steps out, championship in hand. He suddenly stops on the ramp, something loose hanging from his neck, the audience sits silent and confused until a sudden burst of red light reveals it to be Owen Hawes, Heavyweight Championship in hand and his noose around his neck. The red light bathing the arena in an almost bloodlike colour. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, staring down the announcer and commentary team who look nervously at him.
Fink: “Introducing first, the World Heavyweight Champion… from Dorchester, Massachusetts… The Nightmare… OWEN HAWES!!!”
a cheer erupts amongst the most die hard of Hawes fans, almost in worship of their new idol. Suddenly, Hawes music is cut off. The lights dim down. ‘Love The Way You Hate Me’ begins to blast from the speakers, As soon the drums hit the lights burst on in a massive flash of blinding white to reveal Kidd West standing on the ramp, his back to the audience, he spins around revealing the title sitting on his shoulder. As West storms down the ramp he looks at the fans and then looks to the ring where Hawes is waiting. Leaping up onto the apron and rolling back over the ropes. He goes face to face with Hawes, the ref rushing forward to separate them quickly. West chucks his jacket out the ring.
Fink: Introducing the International Champion… from Calgary, Alberta, Canada… KIDD WEST!!!
a decent sized cheery occurs for West who sarcastically bows before the audience. “The Ace That Runs The Place Has Arrived” is uttered quietly by someone, suddenly ‘Christcontrol’ booms into the arena as Simon Cade walks out, Hardcore Championship in hand. Pointing at both sides of the crowd to a small chorus of boo’s. As he makes his way to the ring, looking at both sides of the crowd he lets out a loud and sharp “COME ON BAYBAY”. The crowd look at him, holding in the laughter at such a bluntly stupid sounding statement. As he walks up the steps he quickly jumps to the second rope and points to himself inciting a small chorus of boo’s.
Fink: Introducing the Hardcore Champion… from Farmington, Connecticut...The Ace of Hardcore… SIMON CADE!!!
Cade hops down title in hand, as the three of them meet in the middle of the ring. Cade raises his title above them and points to it, West retaliates by copying Cade and pointing to his belt and then himself. Hawes, who looks like he has little time for such antics slightly raises his and clears his throat to indicate he outranks them all in the end. West and Cade return to their corners, pride slightly injured. The bell rings.
Kohl: And thats the match off to start!
Beast: Just gonna say this right now, The ball is in Cade’s court. He’s beaten every opponent he’s facing tonight in singles competition.
As the bell rings the three men all look at each other. They begin to circle each other like animals circling their prey. West and Hawes quickly pounce forward as Cade jumps back in defence. They look at each other and charge at Cade, forcing him into a corner. West and Hawes methodically start viciously stomping into the Hardcore Champion together. Leaving him trying to shield himself. Eventually Cade barely manages to roll out of the ring. Marks on his chest from where he was viciously kicked.
Kohl: Hawes and West working to eliminate the Cade factor from this match early.
Beast: Smart strategy from those two… Cade’s chest looks exactly like a rib eye steak with those boot imprints… speaking of rib eyes [Beast pulls a plate with a steak on it up from underneath the commentary booth]
As Cade rolls out. Hawes and West look at each other, with Hawes landing the first punch on West sending him stumbling backwards. Hawes runs off the ropes and leaps on top of West with a Thesz Press, repeatedly punching West in the head as West desperately pulls his arms up in defence. Hawes jumps off of the downed West and taunts to the crowd by doing a neck slicing motion resulting in the crowd cheering wildly. He picks West up and drags him to a corner repeatedly punching into him, Hawes then grabs West and hits him with a Belly-to-Belly suplex right into the corner post covers.
Kohl: Oh my! West looks broken with that suplex!
Beast: I doubt he’s actually broken Kohl…
As Hawes storms around the ring celebrating this vicious attack. Simon Cade slips back in behind him. Rushing behind Hawes he quickly stomps on the back of Hawes leg sending him down on one knee. Grabbing Hawes and quickly locking in a sleeper hold, mercilessly shaking Hawes about to try and wear him down. West quickly leaps from the floor and breaks it up before painfully clutching his back. Cade grabs West quickly and hits the Back Suplex, turning it quickly into a Wheelbarrow Facebuster. West bounces off the floor in pain. Simon turns to Hawes and begins stomping into him. Hawes grabs Simon’s foot and forces him back into the ring post.
Kohl: What a clash of the champions here today at the Staples Center!
Beast: I can’t deny, it brings me great pleasure to see these idiots just hurt each other.
Hawes begins to repeatedly hit Simon with some Knife Edge Chops whilst he is trapped in the corner. Suddenly West blitzes across the ring in fury and hits a flying clothesline causing Hawes to bounce off of Cade and hit the deck. West slides back and pumps his arm aggressively and sprints forward, hitting Cade with a damaging European Uppercut and sending him down to the ground. West looks at Hawes on the ground and grins. As West picks up Hawes suddenly the lights cut out.
Kohl: Ladies and Gentlemen do not be alarmed, I’m receiving word backstage that one of the generators appears to have been switched off…
The lights suddenly burst back on as we see an unconscious West sprawled out on the ring ropes. Hawes stands, his arms out wide and receiving applause. Simon Cade staggers up from the corner and charges at Hawes who with a quick smirk slips behind Cade, quickly hitting him with the Release German Suplex. Cade slowly staggers up...LUCID DREAM from Owen Hawes hit perfectly on Simon Cade sending him painfully down to the ground. Hawes rolls him up.

The camera shakes as Hawes gets handed his World Heavyweight Championship. He raises it over his head in victory over his injured opponents in an act of glory before pulling it back down close to him.
Kohl: What a stellar Victory by Owen Hawes! Let's hope he can take this momentum into his title match against Darius Seeiso. I've been Kohl, he's been Beast, and thank you for watching GCW Vindication. We'll see you at Justice!
*The show fades to black*
As it fades to black tge image of a guy fawkes mask flashes up suddenly for a few seconds as lights flicker. It then vanishes as fans look confused
Beast: Shhh Kohl! Do you not see you is in the ring?
Kohl: Oh, it appears the Hardcore Champion Simon Cade is in the ring with a microphone. Let's hope he gives us an explanation for his attack on Kenji last week.
