“Sabotage” hits over the sound speakers as Nigel Alexander comes out onto the ramp and makes his way down to the ramp
Nigel Alexander: Welcome everyone to another Monday Night Vindication! I hope the first two months have been exciting all of you fans. Last week at Red, White, and Blood we crowned a new GCW World Heavyweight Champion, Aaron Black!
::SCENE::
Fans cheer, whooooooooooooooo
Nigel Alexander: However Shio Corin marched right into my office after that match and let me know he would be using his re-match clause, so at Heatwave, it will be Shio Corin vs. Aaron Black for the GCW World Championship!
::SCENE::
Mix of cheers, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy and boo’s, boooooooooooooooooooooooo
Nigel Alexander: That’s not all my news however. I actually have a few announcements for tonight that I’ll spread out. The other big announcement regarding Heatwave, is that we’re going to need a #1 contender for the World championship, and that will be decided in a Armageddon Hell in a Cell match!
::SCENE::
Fans cheeeeerrr yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
Nigel Alexander: The participants in that match will be announced later on GCW.com. That’s all for now, enjoy the show!
Raiden Sparks & Titanic vs Drew Murdock & John Styles
In a very uneven match the tag team champions Axis of Anarchy made short work of Electric Ice. This match left experts with confirmation of why Axis of Anarchy are the champs but also raised questions about Electric Ice's ability to challenge for the title. Axis of Anarchy ended this one with Drew hitting Demantio Memoraie and then Styles hitting the Styles Stomp for the win.
WINNER: Axis of Anarchy
Kidd West vs Owen Hawes
This one was a back and forth contest. Hawes really took it to the rookie Kidd West. West managed to turn the tables toward the end of the match up but ultimately it was Owen Hawes hitting Lucid Dream for the win. Experts suggest that this could spark Hawes' career and wouldn't be surprised to see him partake in things related to the segment that followed this match
WINNER: OWEN HAWES
::SCENE::
Scene opens up backstage with Nigel Alexander standing in front of a backdrop. In front of his sitting on a podium is an unrecognizable title belt
Nigel Alexander: With a night full of surprises, get ready for announcement number three! Next week we will be introducing the GCW TV title! Always a fan favorite, the TV title be defending each week by its champion! This is a great way for us to recognize young stars here at GCW and help build them for the future. See you all later for final announcement!
Seth Corin & Hugh Reynolds vs. Jack Rodgers & Darius Seeiso
Experts watching this match felt really bad for Hugh in this one. It appeared as if Seth Corin was absolutely useless during the match and couldn't mount any consistent offense. In the end the impromptu tag team of Jack Rodgers and Darius Seeiso got the best of Seth and Hugh. After this match many experts already have their money on Axis of Anarchy retaining at Heat Wave.
WINNER: Jack Rodgers & Darius Seeiso
Jensen vs Shio Corin vs Barton Massey
Shio Corin gave up on this one early, after barely escaping a Censored Colors from Jensen, Shio decided to just leave all together and let Barton and Jensen tear each other apart. Barton came in with a huge chip on his shoulder and it showed. He is really motivated to get his title back and it shows. Ultimately it was Barton with the SouthWest Nine for the win.
WINNER: BARTON MASSEY
::SCENE::
After the match the camera pans over to Nigel Alexander who has made his way down to ringside and is holding the GCW International title, with Jensen looking on confused.
Nigel Alexander: You know Jensen, this is a really nice title. Barton, you know that too as you were its first holder. The problem I always had with titles like this one, is that some of the best wrestlers end up winning it. However it can be viewed as being held back from the World title. That’s going to change. Because from now on, the International Champion can trade it in for World Heavyweight title shot whenever they want! We’ll need a week’s notice to promote it of course but otherwise you’re free to earn your shot. Jensen, I believe this is yours…
Testament vs Aaron Black
This was by far the best match of the night. Shio Corin's new monster and the New GCW World Heavyweight Champion went to war. This one was so close that experts were even on the edge of their seats not knowing what momentum swing would ultimately win the match for one or the other. Black went for a black list but it was avoided by Testament and then Testament caught Black with a Sit-Out Powerbomb for the win. Sending the exact message that Shio Corin wanted to send to Aaron Black
WINNER: Testament
