[SIDE NOTE: We sincerely apologise for the poor results. Unfortunately a lot happened this week which resulted in most of the matches having to be summaries. Hopefully we can return to normal soon]
Dawn breaks over New Orleans, Louisiana. A thin fog coats the streets, as early morning joggers make their rounds. Sway Archer sits on the edge of a balcony, overlooking Bourbon Street. He looks to a phone to see a text from Karina, congratulating him on his victory. He smiles, and climbs off the balcony, to the street below. He pulls up his hood, puts his hands in his pockets, and begins to walk down the street.
Sway Archer: I don't regret what I did to Simon. His busted nose was just a byproduct of my goal. I had three things to do that night: Retain my title, make a point to Beast, and knock Simon down a peg.
Sway laughs and sidesteps a jogger.
SA: I am one of a kind. My style, my speech, my way of doing things, is completely unique. That's why I win. There's thousands like you, Simon. Edgy, and all "high and mighty". You were the longest reigning hardcore champion? That's great! You were the longest reigning. Great champions came before you, and there are great champions in the lineage after you. I am the longest reigning, the first, and the only United States Champion. One of a kind.
Sway jumps, and grabs on to the ledge of another balcony. Pulling himself up, and then pulling himself onto the roof. He sits atop the roof, as the sun rises in front of him. He points to the sun.
SA: So long as that there sun, rises in the east, and sets in the west, I will be champion. The Sway Archer Galaxy Tour will not stop.

Kohl: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to GCW Vindication live from Jackson Mississippi! We are just coming off a great pay per view that was Ascension and we are now looking on towards Malice in Wonderland at the end of the month. How excited are you Beast for the month ahead?
Beast: Oh i am quite excited Kohl! We have got some awesome new guys to jeer and mock as well as the obvious regulars to continue the mockery.
Kohl: Speak for yourself partner. So, without further ado, let's kickoff the night with the United States champion champion taking on one of the up and comers, Brandon Irving.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sway Archer Vs Brandon Irving
It is surprising how much experience can help a wrestler as Sway always seemed to have an Answer for anything Brandon threw at him. No matter what kind of old school move Brandon brought out of his bag of tricks, Sway knew exactly how to counter it into a move of his own. It was only a matter of time before Sway was able to connect with ultralight beam and secure a win.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: A stellar performance by Sway there showing the GCW universe exactly why he is the US champion. *he looks over to Beast* Are you ok over there?
Beast: Just shut up and hype the next match! You know how much I hate Sway.
Kohl: Ok, sorry for asking. Anyway, onward to our next match which is a triple threat match featuring Andrew Jordan, Kenji Yamada and the newest addition to the GCW roster, Jesse James.
Beast: Jesse who?
Kohl: Jess...oh nevermind.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Andrew Jordan vs Kenji Yamada vs Jesse James
A very solid triple threat match from 3 of the newer talent in GCW. Neither man was able to get complete control but they all had a good go at it. Andrew was able to use his MMA background to hit some very strong strikes on both men. Kenji returned the favour with his own strong style kicks, leaving huge red marks on his opponents chests. And Jesse showed his brute power by executing vicious spinebusters and Samoan drops, just to name a few. At the closing moments of the match, Kenji connects with Drop the Bass on Andrew but just before he is able to pin him, Jesse comes from behind and drives Kenji into the corner post. This left him with the simple task of pinning the already downed Andrew to steal the victory.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: A very opportunistic move there by Jesse James to win his first ever GCW match.
Beast: Wow Kohl. This guy just beat a former hardcore champion, he could be destined for greatness!
Kohl: Let's not get too ahead of ourselves partner.
Beast: Hey, I just wanted to say it so I can say I told you so when he actually makes it.
Kohl: Fine, we'll just wait and see. Now our next match is quite an intriguing one as it pits the odd team of hardcore champion Red Dragon and International champion Edgar Whateley against The longest reigning tag team champions, Kidd West and Darius Seeiso, the Conspiracy!
Beast: Longest reigning champs? You do know that they are only the longest champ because we have no....*Beast mic cuts off before he can finish his sentence*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Red Dragon and Edgar Whateley vs The Conspiracy
Despite GCW not having many tag team matches in it's history, it is fair to say that this one is one of the better one's from the bunch. All four competitors gave it their all for their team. Surprisingly, Red Dragon and Edgar worked fantastically as a team, with Dragon's sadistic nature matching perfectly with Edgar's calmed, technical ability. However, as the match progressed, it was obvious that tensions between Darius and Edgar were about to reach a breaking point and it did just that. The pair spilled out of the ring and began brawling on the outside. Kidd and Dragon shortly joined them as the 4 man brawl began to escalate. Even after the ref called for a double count out draw, the brawl still continued all the way up the entrance ramp and into backstage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kohl: Well i can't believe it Beast, let's hope they are broken up backstage or the arena is going to be in a huge mess!
Beast: Nah, i say let them fight! that's what we've come for isn't it?
Kohl: Well yes, but the match is over.
Beast: huh, I guess you have a good point.
Kohl: Thank you. So, that just leaves us with the main ev-
Beast: Hold up Kohl! Look who's in the ring! It's the Answer! Oh joy of joys he has graced us with his presence! I wonder what funny shit he will say tonight.
Answer:"All. Fucking. Right. I am sick and tired of losing easy matches. Kidd West should have been a breeze. The Money in the Bank ladder match should have been easy. Hell, the Chamber match? Ungodly simple. But why did I not win those matches? Because I was a coward. I was a cowardly idiot that pandered to people with the lowest of low standards. I was the funny guy everyone needed to have their miserable, insignificant lives have a sense of comedy. But it was a waste of my time. I only now see that most of my run here was a mistake. But now, I see it. I see the way, the way I was meant to be. I was not meant to pander to an idiotic group of people. I was meant to destroy. Look out, it will be hard to not notice. Once you do, hahaha, it's already too late. Ladies and gentlemen, the Answer is dead. Long live Kenneth Rodman."
*The crowd are silent, unsure what to think of the sudden change in personality.*
Kohl: Well, it seems that the Ans- I mean, Kenneth Rodman is starting to show a more serious side to himself. What do you think Beast?
*The camera pans to to Beast as he looks towards the ring, a single tear running down his eye.*
Kohl: o...k then. To wrap us up for this evenings show, we have a fantastic match up. We have a singles match involving the winner of the Ascension ladder match, Mason Childers against the man who made a huge impact in the main event on the same night, John Styles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mason Childers vs John Styles
Fink: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Gordo, Alabama, weighing in at 365 pounds, Mason Childers!
*As Balls to the Wall by Accept begins to play, the lights cut off in the arena. As the line “Watch the Damned” is said, A spotlight turns on to reveal Mason, taking a knee. As the chorus starts, the lights turn back on and Mason stands up with his fist in the air. He begins to walk confidently down to the ring. As he turns the corner, he high fives one fan and makes his way up the steps into the ring. Once in the ring, he extends his arm as if to embrace the crowd. *
Fink: And his opponents, from Los Angeles California, weighing in at 205 pounds, John Styles!
*Hero by skillet blasts into the arena as John bursts onto the ramp through the apron. As he raises his hands, the crowd begin a large cheer before he walks down the ramp. As he makes it to the steps, John stamps his foot before running up them and posing for the fans. Much to their enjoyment. John hops into the ring and leans onto the turnbuckle waiting for the match to begin. *
*With both men in the ring, the bell rings. Not much happens right away as Styles looks for a way to get at the big man Mason. He attempts to go for a collar and elbow tie up but is easily pushed off. As John falls to the floor, Mason ushers to the crowd to get a cheer going. Styles goes for it a second time but once again is brushed away. Starting to get quite frustrated, Styles throws a wild swing which Mason ducks before grabbing Styles straight into a scoop slam. With Styles on the ground, Mason runs to the ropes before hitting a body splash. *
Beast: And there we go folks, that’s how you make a Styles pancake!
Kohl: That’s very true Beast, Styles will definitely be feeling that in the morning.
*Mason, now starting to gain control, lifts Styles into a powerbomb set up. He calls for it and lifts him onto his shoulders. But before he can slam Styles down, Styles wriggles his way out and lands on his feet behind Mason. As Mason turns around, he is met with a huge dropkick into his chest. Mason staggers back gripping his chest from the kick. As he bends down, John spots his opportunity and lands a tornado DDT, sending Mason’s face crashing into the ground. *
Kohl: A great comeback from Styles as he is able to get the big man down.
*Not satisfied with just getting Mason to the ground, Styles begins to connect with a flurry of lefts and rights to the chest and face of Mason. It takes the referees interference to get him to stop punching as the crowd start to boo the vicious actions. After giving the fans a dirty look, Styles gets a running start as he hits a standing 450 splash. He goes for the pin…1…2...Mason Kicks out! *
Kohl: I don’t think I’ve ever seen Styles hit a 450 splash from the ground. I’ve only seen him do it from the top rope.
Beast: It just shows that he’s improving his game for his world title match a Malice in Wonderland.
*Annoyed from the failed pin attempts. Styles goes back to work on the chest of Mason. This time he uses his vertical jump to land feet first into his chest. However, instead of just one, Styles continues to jump on Mason’s chest until he is satisfied. Seeing how beaten down Mason is, Styles locks in a sharpshooter to really add pressure to the back and torso. Mason’s eyes widen form the pain as he attempts to reach for the ropes. The crowd see the peril Mason is in and start to cheer him on, urging him to fight out of the hold. So, instead of reaching for the ropes, Mason uses his remaining energy to turn around onto his back and land a sweet right punch onto Styles’ mouth. John immediately let’s go as Mason begins to get his footing. *
Kohl: Mason is starting to get up, this could mean trouble for Styles.
*Realising that having Mason on his feet is a bad idea, Styles begins to unload once again on him with punches. This time however, Mason breaks free and tosses Styles backwards. John rolls back onto his feet and runs at Mason again but is met with a cloesthline, followed by a second one and finally a sweet sidewalk slam. Mason stands and shouts to the crowd triggering cheers from them. Directly from the ground, Mason grabs John and lifts him straight into a military press position before tossing him just shy of the bottom turnbuckle. *
Beast: Ouch! That Tuscalulu toucher thing could have done some major damage if he hit the bottom turnbuckle.
Kohl: It’s a Tuscaloosa touchdown Beast and yes, Styles got very lucky there not to land headfirst.
*With Styles in the perfect position, Mason makes his way to the opposite corner and squats down, leaning on the ropes. Styles, who is now in a daze, starts to make his way to his feet. When he thinks the time is right, Mason sprints pass Styles…rebounds off the ropes…and…Styles dodges out of the way! Mason stumbles to his feet and turns straight into a superkick! As he falls to the ground, Styles sees his opportunity and climbs to the tope rope. He signals to the crowd...And hits the Styles Stomp! He goes for the pin…1…2…3! Styles takes the victory.
Kohl: John Styles with a great win tonight! He needs all the momentum for his world title match at Malice in Wonderland and this victory will surely help!
Beast: I must say i am impressed. I thought he was going to be completely destroyed by the giant Mason, but he proved me wrong.
Kohl: He sure did partner. And that just about wraps everything up for this weeks Vindication. We hope you enjoyed tonight. I've been Kohl and he's been Beast and we will see you next week!
