Terry Kohl is in front of The Gillsby Gym, an old building in the downtown area. It's easy to tell that the building is an ancient one, despite all the (amateur) fix-ups and the (clumsy) paint jobs. Next to Terry stands Mark Jackson, who is staring into the camera with a formal and dignified expression. Behind him, and slightly out of shot, there is a small crowd of teenage boys and a couple of young adults staring on with mischievous smiles.
"Hello GCW Universe, I'm standing here with our newest wrestler, Mark Jackson. Mark, I just came to ask you a quick couple of questions before your debut here in the next couple of weeks on the November 16th edition of Wednesday Night Vindication. How does it feel to be joining Global Championship Wrestling?"
"Well, Terry, I have to say I'm very honored to be accepted with the best of the best. I look forward to any future endeavors here and-"
Mark's face suddenly lights up and his tone changes. As he stops trying to keep a straight face, it becomes very clear that he's drunk.
"-and SCREW THE FORMALITIES, I JUST GOT INTO GCW! WOOOOO!! I MADE IT TERRY!!"
The crowd behind Mark cheers and howls with him. They begin to chant Mark's name, and he turns around to give them a thumbs up.
"First things first man, I wanna thank all those goons over there. I couldn't ask for better gym-mates, even if they do ALL SUCK ASS"
As he yells the end of his sentence, he is booed by all of his colleagues. He throws back his head and laughs. Then he looks back into the camera with a warm smile on his face.
"And most of all, I really wanna thank my coach, Eric Gillsby. I'm not gonna get all sentimental on my first interview or anything, but it's seriously thanks to him that I got anywhere in life. He got me off the streets and taught me how to fight. He fed me and showed me how to be a decent human being. I'm not the only kid he's helped, either. All those guys behind me would probably be in jail or some crack-house right now if it wasn't for him. He's a real stand-up guy, and I respect him more than I do any other person out there."
"Very touching Mark. Now have you gotten any word on who your first opponent will be?"
"Oooh! Thanks for reminding me. After all that lame, sentimental stuff, I forgot to make my special announcement"
"Special Announcement?"
"You see, Terry, you're looking at a bona-fide future World Heavyweight Champion. I'm gonna take the GCW by storm, you bet your ass. I can stand toe-to-toe with anybody in that locker room, and I'm gonna prove it, because my first match is gonna be an OPEN CHALLENGE. I'll walk into that ring for the first time, and whoever comes out to face me first, is whoever I'm gonna beat first. THE DYNAMITE KID IS A-COMIN', BABY!"
Mark runs back toward the crowd, arms raised. They all start hollering and jumping around, and Mark ruffles the hair of one of the younger boys.
"Well, you heard it hear first folks. Mark Jackson's first match will be an open challenge, against anyone from local competitor to the GCW World Heavyweight Champion himself. This is Terry Kohl, signing off"
